Death toll has reached 95, according to the Associated Press report.

“Deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake in China,” PM Oli wrote on social media platform X. “Heartfelt condolences to President Xi Jinping, the people of China, and the bereaved families. In this tragedy, Nepal firmly stands in solidarity with our neighbours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.”

The earthquake with the epicenter in Tibet shook the hills and the capital city of Nepal pushing the residents in Kathmandu in panicky state as it was early morning at 6:50 in the winter month. Many people ran outside their homes for safety.
