Kathmandu: Muna Pandey, a Nepali student in the United States, was found shot dead in her rented apartment near Hillcroft in Texas on Monday.
The Houston Community College student was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest, according to media reports.
Hours after Houston Police released a surveillance image of a suspect wanted in the murder of Pandey, a source close to the investigation confirmed with KPRC 2 he had been taken into custody.
Police believe he’s responsible for the murder of Pandey, media reports.
