Air Dynasty chopper crashes in Nuwakot

Kathmandu: An Air Dynasty helicopter with five people on board crashed at Shivapuri Rural Municipality-7 in Nuwakot district on Wednesday.

The helicopter, en route from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi in Rasuwa, lost contact after reaching Surya Chaur in Nuwakot. The chopper crashed at Shivapuri-7, and subsequently caught fire.

According to police, the helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM. 

Efforts to establish contact after the crash were unsuccessful.

A rescue team has arrived at the crash site, and police fear that all individuals on board may have perished.
