Five die in Air Dynasty chopper crash

The bodies of four passengers and one pilot were found at the incident site.

Kathmandu: Five persons, including four Chinese nationals, have died in a chopper crash at Shivapuri Rural Municipality-7 in  Nuwakot district on Wednesday. 

The chopper belonging to Air Dynasty, with call sign 9N-AJD, was en route from Kathmandu to Syaprubesi in Rasuwa. The helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM and lost contact just three minutes after takeoff.

According to DSP Tilak Bharti of the Nuwakot District Police Office, five bodies have been recovered from the crash site.

“The bodies of four passengers and one pilot were found at the incident site. Two of the deceased are men, one is a woman, and the identity of another person is yet to be ascertained.”
