National-level youth conference on career counseling concludes

Kathmandu: A national conference to identify the potential and connect the students with opportunities after completing secondary level (10+2) studies was held in Kathmandu.

According to the organizer, ‘Career Conclave’ is the first national-level youth conference of Nepal organized to give priority to students’ careers.  

Addressing the event, Minister of Health and Population Pradip Paudel, who was the chief guest for the event, said that even if there are some challenges in establishing a career in Nepal, these challenges should be faced. 

Stating that going abroad is not the only way to make a career, he advised students that they should look for various places to create opportunities to become the future of Nepal.

Minister Paudel expressed his commitment to improving the problems faced by the current generation while looking for a career, and to creating an environment where the young generation will be able to live in the country.

Expressing his note speech in the program, the chairman of the Techspire College, Lakshman Pokhrel, presented his vision of how to stand first among the competition in the current competitive market and what to talk about immediately after passing intermediate. In the conference, Subash Sapkota, co-founder of ESewa and CEO of Yeti Airlines; Sanjog Koirala, founder of Ideapreneur Nepal; and Shreya Giri, founder of Happy Minds, debated on the topic ‘Living Learning and Changing Job Market’. 

According to the organizer, the students gained practical knowledge and information about the current real market from the debate. 

Paras Khadka, secretary of CAN and motivational speaker Shaunak Bhatt addressed the students in the program. Similarly, singers Nitesh Jung Kunwar and Samriddhi Rai gave a musical performance, and comedian Suman Karki presented a standup comedy.
