Deuba and Lu met at the NC President’s residence in Budhanilakantha, Kathmandu, where they discussed various bilateral issues and contemporary matters. According to Bhanu Deuba, Chief Personal Secretary to NC President Deuba, the discussions focused on enhancing Nepal-US ties. Lu, who arrived in Nepal as part of his South Asian visit, is also scheduled to meet with senior leaders and engage with civil society. The visit is seen as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in key areas such as environmental protection, women’s empowerment, cultural preservation, and sustainable development.
