Uniglobe 3×3 SEE basketball underway

Kathmandu:  Uniglobe Secondary School and College based in Kamaladi has organized a 3×3 SEE basketball tournament for the SEE-appeared students at the college. The tournament, described by the college as a platform for the young boys and young girls to showcase their sports skills and creativity, was inaugurated on Wednesday. Dr Ganesh Regmi, the principal, opened the match by handing over the sports ball to Dipesh Karki, national referee and the technical team.

The tournament is being held in compliance with FIBFA 3×3 International rules. Tokha Basketball Club and Team SOS displayed their strategy, coordination and sportsmanship in the opening match.

According to Uniglobe, a total of 82 teams comprising boys and 30 teams comprising girls have participated in the match. The first and second position holders in each category will be awarded with cash prizes and the excellent players shall be honored with Most Valuable Player (MVP) title, Uniglobe said.
