Two killed, three injured in tractor accident in Rukum West

Dang: Two individuals have been killed, while three others are injured as a tractor en route to Rimra, Jajarkot, from Aathbishkoth, Rukum West, plunged into the Bheri River on Friday afternoon.

The ill-fated tractor (Bhe 2 ta 1668) plunged off the Jajarkot-Dolpa road at Aathbishkot Municipality-14 at around 12:30 in the afternoon, said the police.

Those killed in the incident are Bikash Khadka, 22, and Hari Acharya, 18, of Aathbiskoth-14. Both of them died on the spot, said the police. 

Likewise, Chintamani Sharma, Bikash Pokharel, and Nishan Budhathoki are injured in the incident. They are currently receiving treatment at Chaurjahari Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident.
