Two die, 21 injured as four vehicles collide in Chitwan

Chitwan: Two people died, while 21 were injured in a collision of four vehicles along the Naranghat-Mugling road section in Chitwan district on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 17-Kilo of Bharatpur Metropolis-29, police said.

The deceased are Soyan Pun (13), from Naubahini Rural Municipality-3 in Pyuthan, and Rajan Subedi (21) from Ramche of Barhabise Municipality in Sindhupalchowk.

The teenager died last night, while Subedi breathed his last during treatment at Chitwan Medical College at 8:45 am today, according to police.

Eighteen injured passengers are undergoing treatment in different health facilities, while four others at Chitwan Medical College.
