The flooded rivulet in Jaimini Municiplaity-1 of Baglung has fully obstructed vehicular movement to Muktinath, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Kapilvastu, and Dang.

Information Officer at the Baglung District Police Office, DSP Bijaya Yadav, said that vehicles coming to Baglung Bazaar from various places of Jaimini Municipality such as Wainkuna, Zaidi, Chhishti, Arjewa and Binamare and Bareng rural municipalities have been stranded due to the blockade of the corridor.

He said efforts would be made to open the corridor after the rain stops. The rain for the past few days has damaged the mid-hill highway, a national pride project. In particular, about 15 kilometers of road from Hatia of Galkot municipality-3 to Handikhola of Badigad rural municipality-2 has been damaged. The spokesperson of Galkot municipality, Him Bahadur Bhandari, however, said that the highway has come into operation after clearing the landslide debris.
