Surkhet road accident update: death toll rises to four

Surkhet: The number of people who died in the road accident that took place early this morning near Ratanangla in Birendranagar municipality along the Surkhet-Dailekh road section has reached four. 

Two people died on the spot whereas other two others succumbed to their injuries.

The accident involved a jeep (Bhe. 1 Cha. 2560) with passengers going to Kalikot from Surkhet.

According to the Surkhet District Traffic Police Office, the jeep was carrying six passengers. The remaining others were injured and are undergoing treatment at provincial hospital.
