Students showcase innovation, creativity in two-day science exhibition

Kathmandu: A number of students showcased their creativity and innovation during a two-day science exhibition that concluded on Friday. Organized by the Science Club of Uniglobe Secondary School and College at the college premises in Kamaladi, the event witnessed participation of over 240 students who showcased 64 different projects under major categories of Life Sciences, Robotics, and Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Designed as a platform for experiential learning, the event was meant to encourage students to apply scientific knowledge in practical and creative ways while actively engaging in science beyond classroom instruction, the organizer said.

“The exhibition was a platform for the students to unleash their creativity which they did brilliantly during the two-day exhibition, said Jayaram Ghimire, in-charge of Uniglobe Innovation and Research Center. “We wanted students to understand science through action, to encourage them to promote practical application of scientific knowledge,” said Devendra Khadka, program coordinator of the exhibition.
