Seven border points with China reopen for business, seven others to open soon

This will boost the cross-border trade, and improve local residents' livelihood. Connectivity brings prosperity and happiness, Chinese ambassador to Nepal says.

Kathmandu: Seven traditional border crossing points with China, Nepal’s northern neighbor, have reopened today. This includes the Kimathangka transit at Sankhuwasabha and other border points in Darchula, Dolpa, Mustang, Gorkha, Dolakha and Taplejung.

Tiptala border crossing in Taplejung has also resumed operations from Friday.
