Search for missing fishermen resumes in Rapti

Chitwan: The two people who went missing in the Rapti river are yet to be found. 

They had gone fishing in the river located in Jamunaghat of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-27 on Friday and are reported to have gone missing since then, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Laxman KC said.

A team including Nepali Army and Armed Police deep divers and locals have continued to search in the river but they have not been found yet.

KC said that the search for Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary,43, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25, and Shuk Bahadur Pariyar,45, of Ward No. 27 of Bharatpur will resume today as well.
