Kathmandu: Khadga Raj Shahi of Nepal Workers Peasants Party (NWPP) has been elected ward chair of ward number 4 of Tilgufa Municipality, Kalikot. 

Shahi secured 143 votes while his nearest rival Naishobha Shahi got 115 votes. Ain Bahadur Shahi of CPN-UML, Pail Bahdur Shahi of Nepali Congress, Gogan Bahadur Shahi of Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Gagan Bam of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 78, 49, 17 and 5 votes, respectively.
