Mother, daughter buried in landslide

Panchthar: A woman and her minor daughter died after being buried in a landslide in Phidim Municipality-4.

Sapana Sherpa,25, and her five-year-old daughter Dolma, were buried in a house they were living in Chisapani of the Municipality. Three others who were with them managed to escape and survive.

The landslide occurred around 3:45 this morning, said Panchthar District Police Office.

Meanwhile, the office building of the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities has also been buried by mudslide.
