Landslide at Nagdhunga disrupts traffic to and from Kathmandu

Kathmandu: A landslide in the Nagdhunga area of Chandragiri Municipality-2 has caused a major disruption to vehicular traffic to and from Kathmandu, according to police.

Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari, spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, said that the landslide occurred near Nagmandir, just a few meters from Nagdhunga Chowk. As a result, both incoming and outgoing vehicles have been halted.

The landslide continues to block the road, leaving all traffic stranded. Police have stationed officers at Nagdhunga to stop outbound vehicles, while incoming traffic has been halted below Puplamod.
