Kumon method is now in Nepal

Kathmandu: Kumon Institute of Education Co Ltd has started to introduce the Kumon Method study in Nepal, Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu said.

Kumon is a famous and experienced Japanese company that has been engaged in the field of education through the Kumon Method study since its establishment in 1958. The Kumon Method has spread to more than 60 countries and regions, and now it has come to Nepal.

In order to provide high-quality education to children in Nepal including those in remote local areas in a sustainable manner, the introduction of KUMON CONNECT, the Kumon Method study in digital format using tablet devices, is being promoted, the embassy said.

On July 16, INOUE Katsuyuki, Managing Director of Kumon Institute of Education Co Ltd, and others visited Ambassador Kikuta and explained the current situation and future prospects for the introduction of the Kumon Method.

The Embassy hopes that the introduction of the Kumon Method will further improve the learning environment for children in Nepal.
