Kathmandu: Krishna Man Dangol of Nepali Congress has won the mayoral race of Kirtipur Municipality.

According to the final vote count results, he has secured 5334 votes while his nearest rival Shiva Sharan Maharjan of the CPN (Maoist Center) garnered 4555 votes.

Dr Surendra Manandhar of the CPN (UML) is third with 4337 votes. Independent candidate Rajman Manav has secured 2036 votes.
