Kathmandu: Nepal has defeated Australia by 11 runs in the match held under the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes tournament underway in Hong Kong. Put into bat after losing the toss, Nepal posted a total of 111 runs in the scheduled 6 overs at the loss of 2 wickets.

Captain Sundeep Jora scored his consecutive half century, scoring 51 runs in 16 ball including four 6s and five 4s. His opening parter Lokesh Bam scored 33 runs in 13 balls including three 6s and three 4s. Likewise, Bibek Yadav and Rashid Khan both added 12 runs each to the Nepali total.

For Australia, Jack Wood took 2 wickets. In reply, Australia were all out in 6 overs, with only 100 runs on the board. Jack Wood contributed with the bat as well, scoring 55 runs in 16 balls. Alex Ross was another significant contributor, scoring 14 runs in 4 balls.
