Heavy rainfall likely in Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces

Kathmandu: Light to moderate rainfall is taking place in a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces and a few places in the remaining provinces this morning. 

This is due to the effect of Monsoon winds active throughout the country, says the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. 

Later in the afternoon, the weather will be generally cloudy with the possibility of heavy rainfall in some places and light to moderate rain in other places of the country.

Some places of Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to receive heavy rainfall this afternoon. 

Likewise, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy with a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning tonight across all provinces, the Department said.
