Heat waves likely in Western Tarai

Kathmandu: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned about possible heat waves in the districts of western Tarai in the upcoming three days. 

The Division has asked the locals to apply precautions and keep themselves safe from excessive hot weather.  

The Division said that chances of heat waves are there in the Tarai belt of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces.  

The temperature in some areas in the western Tarai has been recorded at more than 40 degrees Celsius over the past few days.
