Five arrested with fake currency from  Makwanpur

Kathmandu: Police have arrested five individuals with fake currency notes from Makwanpur.

According to Makwanpur Police, they were arrested after being found in possession of 55 units of thousand rupee banknotes.

Those arrested have been identified as Sitaram Thing, 18, of Kailash Rural Municipality-9, Sunil Dhungana, 37, and Rojal Dhungana, 18 of Hetauda-14, and Somraj Thoker, 20, and Rameshwor Aryal, 20 of Makwanpur Gadhi -4.

Police have already started an investigation into the case, it said.
