East-West Highway obstructed again as Dauune road collapses

Traffic flow has been disrupted, and vehicles traveling both east and west have been halted. 

Kathmandu: The East-West Highway has been completely obstructed after a section of the road in Dauune in Khursani Khola in Bardaghat-4, West Nawalparasi, caved in.

According to the West Nawalparasi Police, almost 20 feet of the road has collapsed, with a width of 5 feet. Repair works are currently underway, said police. 

Traffic flow has been disrupted, and vehicles traveling both east and west have been halted. 

This is the second time road has collapsed in the Khursani Khola area, following a similar incident earlier this week.
