Kathmandu: The earthquake that hit early morning on Tuesday sent residents of Kathmandu in panic mode. While many were asleep, at around 6:50 AM, students were just beginning to take their morning classes.
The epicenter of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake is believed to be Tibet and it had a depth of 10 km, according to a separate notice from the China Earthquake Networks Centre, Reuters reported.
