Celebrating empowerment: Mrs Nepal World 2024 concludes highlighting talent and diversity

Karki will represent Nepal at the Mrs World competition, while Suyasha Raut and Reshma Ghimire will compete internationally, highlighting a celebration of empowerment for women.

Kathmandu: Dr. Denila Karki was crowned Mrs Nepal World at a spectacular finale held at the Nepal Academy Hall on Saturday, triumphing over 28 other contestants.

Karki received the prestigious title from Anuradha Koirala, director of Maiti Nepal, and renowned actress Basundhara Bhusal. Last year’s titleholder, Prithiviya Thapa, ceremoniously passed the crown to Karki.

With this honor, Karki will represent Nepal at the upcoming Mrs. World competition in the United States, as announced during the event.

In addition, Suyasha Raut earned the title of Mrs Nepal International, securing her place at the Mrs International competition in Singapore, while Reshma Ghimire was named MS Nepal International and will also compete in Singapore.

Alina Ghimire, Kiran Karki, and Anu Karki were recognized as first, second, and third runners-up in the Mrs. Nepal World category.

The annual Mrs Nepal World competition aims to empower married women, with a judging panel featuring Anuradha Koirala, Kedar Ghimire, Usha Rajak, and Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar.

Additionally, senior actress Basundhara Bhusal received an honorary title of Mrs Nepal World, further celebrating her contributions. Bhusal expressed her joy and encouraged women to embrace their potential, advocating for personal and national growth through their skills and expertise.

The event was organized by Ribbon Entertainment.
