Dhanusha Court issues arrest warrant against Kailash Sirohiya

Kathmandu: The Dhanusha District Court on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against Kailash Sirohiya, Nepal’s noted media entrepreneur and chair of Kantipur Publications Pvt Ltd, on charge of misusing Nepali citizenship.

This arrest warrant follows allegations that Sirohiya submitted fraudulent citizenship documents to various institutions. 

Reports indicate the existence of two citizenship documents with the same number but differing details, suggesting potential identity fraud.
