Sudurpaschim: The Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security will organize ‘Shramadhan Employment Fair’ in Dhangadhi on June 9.

The two-day event is being hosted jointly with Sudurpaschim Provincial Government, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, and Nepal Training and Employment Entrepreneurs Association of Sudurpaschim.

The fair is being organized with the objective of linking employers to prospective workers. 

“The fair is expected to help create job opportunities, promote skills development, encourage entrepreneurship, stimulate economic growth, empower youth, and enhance public-private partnership, said Under Secretary at the Labour Ministry, Basant Bohara.

According to the Kailali-based Labor Office Chief, Janak Simkhada, there will be around 35 private sector stalls at the fair. Workshops will be conducted on workplace-based learning for safe foreign employment, its challenges, opportunities, and impact on foreign employment, fair recruitment process, international labor relations and laws, social security, and domestic employment.
