Court extends Sirohiya’s remand for three more days

Janakpur: The Dhanusha District Court has granted police permission to keep Kailash Sirohiya, the Chairman of Kantipur Media Group, in custody for three more days for investigation in a case related to citizenship. 

A bench of Judge Romakant Jha granted this permission on Friday. 

District Police Office, Dhanusha spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Ranjan Awal confirmed the court’s decision. 

Sirohiya was arrested by the police from his office in Kathmandu last Tuesday.
