Couple buried in landslide, daughter rescued

Kankrevihar (Surkhet): Prem Kumari, a ward member of Barekot Rural Municipality-6, and her husband Man Bahadur Chalune, were buried in a landslide that occurred in Dhuma of the Rural Municipality.

The incident took place at 2:00 am today and the 11-year-old daughter of the couple was rescued but had sustained injuries. 

She has been rushed to a local hospital in Limsa.

Meanwhile, efforts being made with the help of local police to rescue the couple have not yet been successful.
