Kathmandu: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested a citizen of Chinese origin along with six kilos of gold.

CIB spokesperson Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati said that the arrestee has been identified as Senam Gurung (37).

He said, “A citizen of Chinese origin named Senam Gurung has been arrested from Kathmandu with six kilos of gold. Further investigation is being conducted in this matter.”

According to the CIB, the police also recovered Rs 4.8 million cash from the arrested Gurung’s house.
