China Southern Airlines interested in conducting flight to Pokhara, Bhairahawa

Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pande, discussed with the representatives of the Chinese Southern Airlines on their interest in conducting flights to Bhairahawa and Pokhara.

The representatives of the foreign airlines company called on Minister Pande at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar. During the meeting, they informed the Minister that they were interested in conducting flights to the Pokhara International Airport and Gautam Buddha International Airport of Nepal.

China Southern Airlines has been running its service in more than 40 countries including Nepal.

The airline conducts flights to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu from Guangzhou.

The team also praised the policy reform made by Minister Pande to facilitate the aviation to Pokhara and Bhairahawa.

Minister Pande welcomed the Airlines’ interest to run aviation services to Nepal’s regional international airports. “I welcome your interest in linking Nepal’s regional international airports through your service. Pokhara is a tourist capital while Bhairahawa the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha,” he said.
