Bad weather affects flight

Kathmandu: Operation of flights has been affected due to bad weather. The TIA office informed that flights at Tribhuvan International Airport were affected for 15 minutes due to poor visibility due to rain in the afternoon.

According to Subas Jha, spokesperson of TIA, both domestic and international arrivals at the airport were suspended from 11:30 am to 11:45 am due to heavy rain. Spokesperson Jha said that the weather is favorable now and all the flights are going on regularly. 

There has been normal rain and light rain in Kathmandu Valley since this morning. Even now, it is raining lightly in various places of Kathmandu Valley. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast Division, The influence of wind is causing rainfall in the different parts of the country.
