Aircraft returned from runway after smell of ‘nail polish’

Kathmandu: An aircraft of Shree Airlines that was ready to fly from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi was returned to the runway after the smell of ‘nail polish’.

According to officials at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), flight SHA 221 with registration 9NANS was returned to the parking after some weird fuel-like smell inside the aircraft. 

The flight was supposed to take off at 8:25 AM as per the TIA schedule.
