Lawmakers from the ruling party including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led CPN-Maoist Centre, CPN0UML Chair K.P. Sharma Oli, and Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane among other leaders are currently holding a meeting in Singha Darbar.

Similarly, leaders from the main opposition Nepali Congress, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party are holding a separate meeting at the office chamber of the opposition party at the Parliament building in New Baneshwor.

The meeting of the House of Representatives, which was supposed to begin at 11:00 am, has been delayed because of the same.

The House of Representatives meeting on Thursday witnessed unusual scenes as lawmakers from both the ruling and opposition parties were involved in an altercation.
