One dies, four injured injury in tractor accident in Sarlahi

Kathmandu: One person died and four others from a single family were injured in a tractor accident that occurred at Piprabhitta of Barahathawa municipality in Sarlahi district last night.

The deceased, Raj Kumar Singh, 17, passed away after the incident on Monday night. The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a local health facility, as stated by Dipak Shrestha, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Sarlahi. 

In a separate incident in Chitwan, a cyclist died and two others were injured in a road accident. Kumar Gurung, 60, from Ganeshsthan of Bharatpur metropolis, sustained serious injuries when a motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction hit him. Gurung passed away while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College last night. 

Shreeram Bhandari, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, provided this information. Sudarshan Adhikari, 33, from Manahari rural municipality-3 of Makwanpur, and Santosh Burlakoti, 49, from Basanta Chowk of Bharatpur-9, were also injured in the accident. They are currently receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College. Adhikari was riding the motorcycle, and Burlakoti was the pillion rider.
