DPR on progress to build international-standard stadium in Janakpurdham

Mahendranagar (Dhanusha): Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has said the preparation of a detailed project report (DPR) is underway to build the Ramjanaki Multipurpose Stadium of an international standard in Janakpurdham.

During an inauguration of the Jaya Trophy Men’s Elite Cup cricket championship in Janakpurdham today, the Chief Minister said the province government will be signing an agreement on Monday with the National Sports Council and the Guthi Sanshtan to develop the Stadium.

As he said, there are some technical issues to call a bid for the project.

The project is estimated to cost Rs 2.5 billion to three billion.

He also pledged to cooperate and build coordination with youths in the province to enhance infrastructure development and thus create opportunities for them.
