Kathmandu: British ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn on Saturday celebrated his wedding anniversary in Janaki temple, one of the sacred sites of Hinduism, of Janakpurdham. “Amb Rob Fenn chose to celebrate his 22nd anniversary today in Janakpur, the city of love as he calls it, following Mithila culture,” British embassy said. “Speaker of the House, Minister for Education & Culture, Janakpur’s Mayor, & other dignitaries were present at the ceremony!”
On the occasion the ambassador also planted trees. “Throughout this magical day in #Janakpur, City of Love, Julia & I have been showered with kindness & reminded how – to achieve anything imp – it usually takes two: Ram & Sita style,” Rob Fenn wrote on X. “We also planted 2 trees, side by side in Dhanusadham. Look forward to returning to see those.”
