Earthquake jolts Bajhang

Kathmandu: An earthquake of 3.9 on the Richter scale with its epicentre at Rayal in Bajhang was felt at 11:20 am today, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre said.

Before this, an earthquake measuring 4.2 Richter scale and with epicenter around Annapurna Area on the border between Kaski and Manang districts was recorded on November 21.

The Centre has stated that earthquakes have been occurring in recent times in Nepal which is at risk of tremors as it is located in the Himalaya region, a seismically active zone.
