Rabi Lamichhane remanded in custody for six days

Kathmandu: The Kaski District Court on Sunday remanded former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in custody for six days.

Lamichhane, also the chair of Rastriya Swatantra Party, was arrested on Friday from his party office on cooperative fund embezzlement and organized crime charges. Soon after the arrest, police took Lamichhane to the Pokhara District Police Office to present him before the court.
