Uma Aryal Lamichhane elected chair of Community Self Reliance Center

Kathmandu: Uma Aryal Lamichhane, who has been working dedicatedly in the field of land and agriculture rights, was elected the chair of Community Self Reliance Center, the NGO which has been at the forefront of land rights advocacy for over three decades.

She was elected to the top post by 29th General Assembly of the organization. The other members of the team inckude Hari Prasad Pudadaini as the deputy chair, Man Bahadur Kshetry as secretary, Cheli Gurung as treasurer, among other members.

CSRC has been conducting programs in 19 districts, all of them focused on people’s right to land and other agricultural rights.
