Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has decided to allow Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane to speak and give his clarification on his alleged involvement in misusing cooperative funds.
The largest party in the House of Representatives has been obstructing the house meeting, demanding a high-level house panel to investigate Lamichhane’s alleged involvement in misuse of cooperative funds.
The budget session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly under the federal parliament is taking place from today onwards.
A parliamentary party meeting of Nepali Congress held Friday morning decided to allow Lamichhane to speak in the house to furnish his clarifications, said a Nepali Congress leader.
