Four held with leaked grade-12 question papers

Kathmandu: The District Police Range, Kathmandu, has arrested and made public four persons along with the Grade-12 answer sheets of the National Examination Board.

Those arrested are Madhav Tripathi, 38, residing at Kapan, Kathmandu Metropolis-6; Sabin Paudel, 19, from Dakshinkali Municipality-8; Sitesh Kumar Yadav, 20, from Kageshwori Manahara; and Roshan Ranabhat, 23, from Thali, Kathmandu, according to Nabaraj Adhikari, Superintendent of Police.

They were arrested while writing on the answer sheets for the Grade 12 computer science exam, the question papers for which were leaked before the scheduled exam from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Wednesday. They were detained from a hall at the Welcome Party Palace located in Kathmandu Metropolis-6.

SP Adhikari informed that an investigation into the incident was underway as per the Education Act, 2028.
