Nepali Congress forms 37 party departments

The formation of departments is expected to reignite the process of involving experts to delve deep into the issues of their expertise and to advise the party leadership, says NC. 

Kathmandu: Over two and half years after its 14th General Convention, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has constituted a total of 37 departments as per party statute. 

In Nepali Congress, the departments are supposed to advise the party leadership and the Central Working Committee on issues assigned to them.

Party chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that President Deuba designated several central members of the party as the coordinators of the departments today.
