Kathmandu: A massive landslide in Simtal in Bharatpur Metropolitan-29 along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section swept away two passenger buses on Friday morning, leaving more than 60 passengers missing. The buses were carrying around 65 passengers in total.

A joint rescue team from the Nepal Police, Nepal Army, and Armed Police Force is engaged in the rescue mission, as the two buses were swept into the Narayani River. 

Police have yet to confirm if the buses boarded additional passengers en route.
