NIC Asia Bank honors Nepali national women’s football team

Kathmandu: NIC Asia Bank honored the national women’s football team of Nepal which participated in the WAFF Women’s Championship held in Saudi Arabia.

The team emerged as the runner up of the tournament. 

The bank, in collaboration with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), felicitated 31 members of the national women’s football team, awarding them a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each and presenting them with certificates of recognition. 

The bank announced goalkeeper Anjana Rana Magar as its brand promoter to acknowledge her exceptional performance.

During the program, the bank extended best wishes to the Nepali national women’s football team saying that they had displayed outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, patience, and determination throughout the tournament, leading them to the finals and securing the runner-up position despite being newcomers.
