HelvetArt Fair in Reading, UK showcases artist P. Singh’s artworks on Nepal

United Kingdom: The eighth edition of the Nepal Yatra art exhibition, hosted at the HelvetArt Fair, The Roseate Hotel in Reading, UK, concluded on 30 June, 2024.

The exhibition, held on 29-30 June, featured artist P. Singh’s array of captivating acrylic paintings that artfully captured the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes, rich culture, and heritage, including its wildlife.

Artist P. Singh, whose works have previously graced events in the UK, Qatar, and Nepal, is committed to promoting Nepal and Nepali culture through his paintings.  

Expressing his excitement, artist P. Singh said, “I was thrilled to represent Nepal with my artworks at the HelvetArt Fair. It was truly exhilarating to showcase Nepali art, culture, and landscapes to hundreds of visitors over the two-day exhibition.” He also noted the enthusiastic response from visitors toward Nepali artworks. Singh, a Software Engineer at SMBC Bank in London, passionately paints during his free time.  

“The HelvetArt Fair has featured artists from many countries, and we are thrilled to showcase artworks on Nepal,” said Inna Wars, Coordinator at HelvetArt.

Not only did the visitors appreciate the artworks of Nepal’s cultural heritage and mountains, but they also captured the attention of fellow artists. “As a participating artist here, I am delighted to see Nepali artworks that brought back all the good memories from my trek to Nepal in my younger days,” said Jonathan Crawford, a British artist.
