Kathmandu: The National Examination Board has announced the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at 10:00 AM on Thursday.
According to the NEB officials, as many as 186 students received a 4.0 GPA. Of the total 464,785 students, only 47.86 per cent have passed the SEE exam whereas the remaining 52.14 per cent have failed.
The NEB said that 242,092 students were unclassified (non-graded) and 221 were withheld.
“Students who received ‘NG’ in up to two subjects can participate in the grade enhancement exam after one month, while students who get ‘NG’ in three or more subjects will have to take re-examination next year. The NEB has decided to conduct the next SEE exam of 2081 from the 7th Chaitra, 2081,” said NEB.
“Students can see their results by SMS and IVR using code 1600 through SMS in Nepal Telecom, code 34455 at Swift Technology Pvt., code 35001 at Janaki Technology Pvt., code 34949 at Easy Service Pvt. and code 31003 at Akash Tech Pvt,” according to NEB.
Likewise, they can view the result details through the websites of the National Examination Board, Examination Control Office, National Examination Board, Nepal Telecom, Khalti, Esewa, and Ncell.
Of the 75 marks, a minimum of 26.25 marks for the theoretical exam, and 40 percent (i.e. 10 marks) for the internal exam of 25 marks must be secured by the students. According to the letter grading guidelines, the theoretical and internal marks have been converted into grades and the results have been published.
