13 outstanding taxpayers honoured in Nuwakot

Trishuli: Bidur Municipality of Trishuli district honored 13 taxpayers as the ‘outstanding taxpayers’ on Friday.

They were honored during the 15th Municipal Assembly of Bidur Municipality for being the highest taxpayers.

Those honored are Kiran Khatiwada of Bidur-1, Bhuwan Lal Rajbhandari of Ward-2, Mangale Shrestha of Ward-3, Bhagawan Raj Shrestha of Ward 4, Manamaju Industries Pvt Ltd of Ward 5, Saraswoti Dhital Lamichhane of Ward 6, and Bhairab Bahadur Bhandari of Ward 7.

Similarly, Shiva Prasad Adhikari of Ward 8, Jitendra Man Shrestha of Ward 9, Prakash Khatiwada of Ward 10, Nil Prasad Chalise of Ward 11, Arjun Prasad Rimal of Ward 12 and Ambar Bahadur Tamang of Ward 13 are significant taxpayers, said Mayor Rajan Shrestha. 

Deputy Mayor Prabha Bogati shared that the municipality had set a target of attracting taxpayers by increasing tax next rather than tax size.
