Kathmandu: Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security Dol Prasad Aryal has inquired about the Nepali workers who were injured in the fire at the labor camp in Mahaghaf, Kuwait. Minister Aryal contacted the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait and got information about the Nepali workers in the camp.
A fire broke out in a camp where migrant workers live in Kuwait on Wednesday morning. According to the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait, there were five Nepali workers in the camp where the fire broke out. Two of them were safe whereas the other three people sustained minor injuries, as per the Embassy.
Shivshankar Paswan and Dorje Lama, who sustained minor injuries in the fire, are being treated at Al-Adan Hospital. Officials from the Embassy reached the hospital and inquired about the health condition of Paswan and Lama.
As for Dinesh Kumar Mandal, he has been discharged after general treatment at Farwania Hospital, according to the Embassy. Similarly, the company informed that Zakir Nadaf and Santosh Kumar Goit are safe, stated the Embassy.
